Jill & Nate E-session
Posted by pwp on July 12, 2012
I was so pleased to photograph Jill and Nate’s engagement session on a gorgeous summer evening. The location was easy to pick: the Tilian farm where they have been able to start their business, Green Things Farm. You may have seen them at the Ann Arbor Farmers’ Market and tried their delicious greens there or at local restaurants. They also offer CSA programs (Community Supported Agriculture) which is a great way to support your local farmers and enjoy fresh products during the whole season.
We started inside the barn which had amazing warm light coming through the entrance. Some light was also coming from the back siding which made for such a beautiful background.
Once the sunlight became less harsh, we found some really great spots around the farm and in the field. The coolest part was when Nate drove us on his sparkling “upgraded” LADA to the property that they recently purchased to continue their own farming business.
Here are some of my favorite moments of the evening, where I hope you will get the real essence of what makes engagement sessions so special…
These were some of the photographs that I was envisioning at the idea of doing the session at the farm…
Sancho (their dog) was a great assistant for me, helping them to relax and forget about the camera…
